Packing the right supplies

It is not at all important to pack much for the desert safari, but a few useful items to consider include a light jacket, sunscreen, and sunglasses. In case you are planning a night tour, the desert temperature will be noticeably cooler in the evening. Also, along with blocking the sunlight, the sunglasses will prevent the sand from getting into the eyes.

Selecting the right time

During November to March is the preferred time to visit a desert region. In the winter months, a desert safari will be a lot more comfortable. You will find the temperature a lot cooler later in the day. However, the winter months are the major tourist season, so to book the activities it will be necessary to expect more crowds and more competition.

Wearing comfortable clothes

Casual, loose and comfortable clothing is perfect for a desert safari or Fes Sahara tours. This includes clothes like shorts, cotton shirts or pants. The preferred footwear is open shoes, sandals, and flip-flops. To avoid issues with sand constantly getting in the closed shoes as you will find plenty of activities that involve being out in the sand.
